Herbs and Rituals for Sleep

  • Better Than Jam's Store and Studio 20 Grattan Street Brooklyn, NY, 11206 United States (map)

Are you looking for ways to fall asleep easier and more holistically? Do you crave evening rituals to help seal the energy of the day? Join Barrie Cohen and Gabrielle Gray for Herbs and Rituals for Sleep. We will go over how to set energetic boundaries around your sleep, create an evening gratitude practice, and herbs that will help ease the sleep transition. Participants will create an herbal blend to take home that can be used as a tea or in the bath. This is the perfect time to explore your sleep habits, as the city slows down and we all spend more time in darkness, going within.

Barrie and Gabrielle

Organizer of Herbs and Rituals for Sleep

Originally from New York City, Barrie Cohen has spent several years traveling and working on organic vegetable farms throughout the country.  There she began studying different uses for plants, dabbling with herbal remedies and dying fabric with native plants.  Upon returning to New York she continued exploring color: gathering flowers from local markets and foraging plants on weekend hikes.  Now with her company, Beezie Textiles, Barrie spends most of her time working with natural color, sewing repurposed fabric together and incorporating magic and ritual into her everyday routines.  Beezie Textiles combines a love for nature with a passion for a cozy home to create sustainable and natural products for you to enjoy in your home.

Gabrielle Gray is an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, healer and empath. She is a Yoga Alliance-certified RYT-200 teacher and Reiki healer under the guidance of Denise Munoz, with whom she continues to study breathwork. She has completed a course in Vedic meditation under Light Watkins, and a Reiki mentorship program under Lisa Levine and LaVonne Natasha Caesar. All of these experiences help her connect with students and clients to bring happiness, high vibrations and healthy choices into their daily lives. Her mission is to support people as they tune into their goals and walk with them on the journey of transformation.
